感想など 　※ネタバレ注意

今回の魔法レシピはお菓子のグミということだったけれど、正確にはGumdropで、「ガムドロップ」というらしい。
ガムドロップとグミの違いを、いつものようにchatGPT先生に訊いてみた。

まぁ、ほとんど一緒なんでしょう。

今回はグミ（ガムドロップ）作りの様子が見られて、先日のマシュマロ作りと同様「へ～・・・」と感心した。
でも食べ物のポイ捨てが甚だしいこのドラマで、今回はなんと作った途端一口も食べずにゴミ箱行きにするのを見て超ビックリした。
今まで、食べる目的がないのに料理をして即捨てる映画やドラマのシーンは観たことがない・・・たぶん。

リスニングの点では、Kellyパパのセリフはいつもとても聴きとりづらい。
今回も、最初に英語音声だけで観たときに、魔法にかかっているKellyが魔法本をポイッと外に山積みになっている物のところに置くシーンと、その後いきなりリサイクルショップに本があるシーンとがあって、繋がりが理解できなかった。
その後英語字幕確認フェーズで、Kellyパパが「リサイクルショップの人が取りに来るので古いグリルと不用品を外に出しておく」という話をしているのが分かり、それで理解した。
自分の父親だったら意思疎通ができなくて大変だろうなー。

ってか、フリーランスになったKellyパパは立派なグリルなんて買っている場合なのだろうか。
子供や老人がアルバイトしている家計状態なのに、BBQは外せません！って感じがアメリカっぽい。
