以下の文で「food」と「dance」の前に「a」が付く理由

通常 “food” は「食べ物全般」「食料」という意味で使われ、その場合は不可算。
例:
Food is important for health.「食べ物は健康に大切だ」
I like Turkish food.「トルコ料理が好きだ」
今回の文のように「一種類の食べ物」「一品の料理」として使うと 可算名詞 になる。
例:
There is a food called “sushi” in Japan.「“寿司” という料理(食べ物の一種)がある」
“Are you interested in seeing a belly dance?"
「踊ること」や「ダンスという芸術・活動一般」を指すときは、不可算。
例:
I love belly dancing.「ベリーダンス(というジャンル)が好きだ」
今回の文のように「ひとつのダンス」「特定の踊り」という意味では 可算名詞になる。
例:
We watched a beautiful ballet dance.
→ ひとつのダンス作品
She performed a belly dance at the restaurant.
→ 1回のベリーダンスショー
「美味しい」の表現
That looks good.「あれ美味しそう」 ※絶品と強調する場合はdelicious
