感想など 　※ネタバレ注意

今回のお餅レシピは、なんと魔法本に日本語で書かれていた！
このリベンジ魔法に関する料理がなぜ餅なのか・・・本に日本語で書かれていた通り「業」と言えば日本の伝統なのか！？
他にもHannahが「Green Tea Latte（抹茶ラテ）」について触れた際、Darbieが「Ew. Gross.」と反応していた。
amazonの字幕ではこの部分が省略されていたけれど、英語音声で聴いて分かっちゃうから日本人的にちょっと悲しいよ、Darbie！
複雑な気分になる回ではあったが、とりあえず英語でも「mochi」で完全に浸透していることは良く分かった。

さて今回も前回同様、「なかなか難しいけれど何度も頑張って聴き直したらなんか聴きとれそう」という感じがして、何度も清聴した。
そのお陰で何度か「あ、分かった！」と理解できたセリフがあり、嬉しかった。
その後英語字幕の解読を始めたところ、いくつか英語字幕で見ても分からないセリフがあった。これは頑張ってもしょうがないね。
例えば冒頭で、HannahとDarbieがカフェでErinを見張っているところへJakeが話しかけに来るシーン。

Jake：Guys, chill. This Erin read me the riot act for going off book with a customer.

しゃべっているのも早くて分からないけれど、そもそも言っている意味が全く理解できなかった。
調べると「read me the riot act」は慣用句、「go off book」は「マニュアルやルールから外れる」という意味とのこと。
どっちも知らないんだから理解出来なくて当然。

LeahのMean Girlっぷりもかなりのものだったけれど、Hannahを心配したり憤慨したりするDarbieに感動した。
Darbieのように心配したり動いてくれる親友のありがたさや、問題を周囲に相談したり適切なところへ声を上げる重要さを説く回だった。
Darbieが初めて一人で魔法のお菓子を作るシーンも、彼女らしく可愛くて楽しかった！
それに引き換えKellyときたら・・・完全にママP2号になりつつある。毎回ちょっと質問するために南の島までフライト利用なのかという疑問は解消したけど。
あぁ、あと、Kellyはエビが大好物だ！
