Correct: The shelter is having a hard time making ends meet.
【特に質問した箇所】
The expressions “cost an arm and a leg" and “cost a fortune" are both used to talk about expensive things, so you can use them with the bargaining expressions.
EX1: 100 dollars? That will cost me an arm and a leg! Is that the best you can do?
EX2: 100 dollars? That will cost me a fortune! Is that the best you can do?
レッスンの感想
今日のJ先生はなかなか手慣れた感じで、テキパキしつつも上手に雑談を入れたりして上手だった。
今日の内容は前回グダグダだったのでもう一回やり直したくて再度選択したが、お陰で今度は復習しつつも、より相性の良い先生と良いレッスンが出来てスッキリした。
この教材内容は１から４の復習だったけれど、各フレーズやシチュエーションを上手に組み合わせて全部使いながら話す練習をする、という内容になっていて感心した。
