・household：家族、一家、世帯
ex) I have a responsibility of management of household in my family.
・nuclear family (⇔ extended family)：核家族⇔大家族(親戚も含む)
ex) My parents longed for an extended family, but I’m satisfied as a nuclear family.
・(to live) separately：別々で(暮らす)
ex) In that country, it’s common that adults live separately from their parents.
・responsibility as (parents)：(親)としての責任
ex) We shouldn’t accuse a responsibility as parents of adult children.
・discipline (children)：(子供)をしつける [dísəplin]
ex) Disciplining children is one of the responsibility as parents.
・rely on：～に頼る
ex) You can rely on me anytime.
・sibling：(男女の別をつけない)兄弟
ex) Did you want to have siblings when you were a child?
・(tell) without holding anything back：包み隠さず(話す)
ex) We grew up together like siblings, so we tell without holding anything back to the other.
・get along well with (someone)：(誰かと)うまく・仲良くやって行く、性が合う
ex) I get along well with him because I tell without holding anything back.
・quarrel：口げんか、口論、仲たがい [kwɔ́rəl]
ex) We get along with each other so well that we sometimes have quarrels like siblings.
・distance (between the heart)：(心の)距離
ex) Although my place to live is very far from his, there’s no saying we have a distance between the heart.

→ 冗長なので “I’m managing household in my family" の方が良い

↑の文を見ると"houseold" = “family" に見える。そうなのか訊いたところ、先生もそうだと言っていた。
でもレッスン最後の残り時間で “household" を使った練習がしたいと言って、"The members of my household are my husband and I." と例文を言ったら、それはしっくりこないと言われた。詳細は下記参照。

→ 文としておかしかった（自分でも気づいた）ので、先にサンプル文を提示してもらってから、それを手本に下記のように直した。
"It’s not their responsibility as parents to take care of their adult children."

→ こちらも “tell" が “talk to him"

【household と family】
先生の説明では、"household" の方がもっと包括的（家族とか場所とかhomeとか全てを含めるような感じ）とのこと。
レッスン後に調べた感じでも一応そんな感じで、"household" は血縁関係に無い人でも同一世帯に住む人も含めたもののよう。
レッスンの感想
今日のキャンペーン先生はセルビアのE先生を選んだ。
ちょっと覇気が無いというと失礼で申し訳ないのだけれど、あまり私とは合わないタイプだなぁと感じた。
終始ホワ～ンという感じで淡々と進み、こっちが一人で一生懸命雰囲気を盛り上げようとしているような・・・。
タイプもしてくれそうにないので、言い直しの文は全部自分でボックスに打ったりして、なんか自分がお人好しな感じだった。
まぁそっちの方が時間の節約になるのでいいけど、「あぁ、自分で打つのね」という感じでこの状況を当たり前にされたのがあまり気分良くなかった。
「人気講師予約無料キャンペーン」も、やっぱり当たり外れがある・・・。
今回は結構期間が長いし、どんな講師でも皆「人気講師」の対象なんだなぁと思ってしまう。
この先生とは語彙のところまでで終わったので、続きはいつものように信頼感バツグンのエルサルバドル・Ｏ先生にお願いした。
