感想など 　※ネタバレ注意

今回のエピソードは、過去観た中で一番聴きとりやすくて、初回の英語音声onlyでたぶん85%くらい？聴きとれた。
嬉しくなって、なんとか100%にしたくて2回、3回と挑戦し、観直すたびに一言二言「あ、分かった」という発見があった。
どうしてそうなるのか不思議。

最終的に100%には出来なかったけれど、字幕で確認していくと、今回は難しい語彙や表現がほとんどなかったことが分かった。
でもやっぱりKellyの「nepotism（身内びいき）」なんて言うのは、語彙を知らないんだから何回聴いてもそりゃ無理だった。
あとは、KellyとDarbieの会話で新しいレストランのことを

“I hear the chef massages her ingredients."

と言っているのは、「シェフがマッサージする・・・・？？？」と意味不明だった。後で調べて納得。
レストランのシェフとのジョブ面接で言ったJakeの

“Gentle grace is my middle name."

も、「Jakeのミドルネームが『gentle grace』・・・？？？」

と、同様。

でも聴きとろうとして何度も繰り返したシーンを、字幕を見て「そっか！」と理解し、知ってから聴き直すと本当にそう言っているのが分かるというのは面白いし勉強になる。

他にも、今回は主役３人よりも他の人たちがいい味を出していたという印象だった。
優等生を装いつつKellyたちには澄まし顔を見せるChuckも良かったし、相変わらずふてぶてしくユーモラスなママPもいいし、地に足が付いているしっかり者のJakeも好印象。
でも一番はシルヴァースさん。
Hannahとお菓子を作っている時の優しい表情もいいけれど、最も良かったのはChuckに対する見方。

“I like to think we all have good inside us."

うーん、見習いたい・・・。
