感想など 　※ネタバレ注意

Kellyがどんどんヤバい方向へと進んでいくここ数回。色々と怖い演出があちこちで見られたエピソードだった。
今回は、細かい数ヶ所以外はおおよそ聴き取り理解出来て良かった。まぁ内容がシンプルだったし。
でも例え後から英語字幕で確認して何と言ったか分かっても、それでも全く聞き取れないセリフもいくつかあった。
例えば、KellyのおばあちゃんがPiperとピザを作りながら言う

“Piper, not so many olives."
（「パイパー、ナツメグオレンジ。」にしか聞こえない（笑)

とか、忘れてきたプレゼントを届けに来てくれた母Erinに言うZoeのセリフ

“Thanks, Mom. Sorry you had to drive all the way back."
（「ソーリー ジャジャジャジャ ザウェイバック」に聞こえる・・・）

とか。
もうこういうのは慣れるしかないね・・・。

他の英語のポイントとしては、イントネーションで気になったのがコレ。

今回もアメリカの文化を学び、「Police Appreciation Day」という日があると知った。
以前のエピソードで出てきた「teacher appreciation day（先生への感謝の日）」や「National Thank Your Mail Carrier Day（郵便屋さんへの感謝の日）」と同じで、警察官に感謝する日だそうだ。
さすがアメリカだなぁ、とまた感心した。

最後に、JakeとErinがパーティーで一緒に歌う歌の名前を知りたくて、歌詞でGPTに訊いたところ、アメリカのカントリー歌手ドリー・パートン（Dolly Parton）のヒット曲「9 to 5」だと教えてくれた。
この歌は、日常のルーチンやオフィスワークの厳しさ、そして上司からの評価が得られないフラストレーションを描いているそうなので、Darbieたちが「これじゃJakeは出世できない」と言ったシーンについて理解できた。
フランチャイズチェーンのイチ店主に過ぎないErinも同じ状況なのを、二人で一緒に歌うことで皮肉ってたんだね。なるほど！
