【習った表現】
・spend money on something：to use money for something.
例) I usually spend money on fancy coffee and tea.
例) My husband spends money on secondhand computer, but I think it’s not a good thing to buy.
・a waste of money：it’s not good to spend money on it.
例) I think the movie was a waste of money.
例) I think paying money for bottled water is a waste of money.
・be broke：to have no money.
例) I’ll be broke if I go drinking every night!
例) My friend is broke by the 20th of every month because she isn’t careful with money.
レッスンの感想
今日は初のS先生で、写真とのあまりの違いに衝撃を受けなくもなかったけれど、色々おしゃべりをして楽しくレッスンをしてくれた。
昨日の教材の中で最後のChallengeのところがまだだったので、そこをやりながら色々自分の周囲のことなどを話しているうちに、あっという間に25分経った。
今回のフレーズは「be broke」以外は馴染みがあるので新たに覚える必要がなく、使いやすかった。
いつもこうだとしゃべる方に集中できるんだけど。
