レアジョブ 実用英会話 6-5 Lesson1-4 Review①
今回の内容（Chapter1 Money Matters)
【復習：Cost of Living】
・cost an arm and a leg：to be very expensive
・cost a fortune：requires a lot of money
・dirt cheap：very inexpensive
【復習：Negotiating】
・rip someone off：to make someone pay too much for something
・the best someone can do：the maximum amount that a buyer can pay or the minimum amount that a seller can take
・his/her last offer：The amount a buyer or seller won’t negotiate anymore
【復習：Refunds and Exchanges】
・issues a refund：They return the money that they received as payment for an item.
・proof of purchase：a document such as a receipt that shows that a customer paid for something.
・no questions asked：they don’t require an explanation or other additional information from the customer.
【復習：Donations】
・ A worthy cause：an activity or organization that deserves attention or help from people because it’s doing something good.
・pay it forward：to do something nice for someone because someone else did something nice for you.
・struggle to make ends meet：have trouble earning enough money for your needs.

レッスンの感想
今日のM先生とは、ちょっと相性がイマイチかな、と感じた。他の先生と同様、にこやかで、淡々として、テキパキとして・・・という典型的レアジョブ講師だっただけなんだけど、なんだかとてもやりにくかった。
特に今回は過去の復習ということもあったし。
なにせ予習ゼロで臨んでいるので、レッスン開始の時に初めて教材を選んで「復習回」だと気付き、ヤバイと思った。
予習もしてなきゃ復習もしてないので、この４回分のフレーズをロクに記憶していなかった。
次回はまた最初からやり直したいよ・・・。
今回ちょっとな～と思ったことは、Listningの所で先生がそれなりの長さの内容（地元の人のpodcastによるローカル話題）を読み上げ、それを聞いた後設問に答えるという場面。
先生の読むスピードというより、フィリピン訛りで何を言っているのか分からない箇所がいくつかあった。
でもそれは言いにくいので言わず、聞き返さず、だったので、余計に設問の回答がグダグダに。
もう以前のようなネイティブ信仰はしていないつもりだけど、それでもフィリピン訛りの読み上げを聴くのって、複雑な気分。
