・unorthodox：普通（一般的・正統）でない、型破りな [ʌnɔ́rθədɑks]

ex) I value my friendship with Kyle. It’s really important to me.
・candid：率直な、正直な [kǽndid]

各単語の意味を別の単語で表すように、と色々あった。
・UNORTHODOX: unusual, unique
・VALUE: cherish, appreciate
cherish ～：～を大事にする、胸にしまっておく
・CANDID: straightforward, direct
straightforward：〔人が〕率直な、正直な
・COLLABORATIVE: cooperative, participating
participate：共有する、分かち合う

レッスンの感想
今日は初のK先生とレッスン。
昨日に引き続き淡々系先生で、始まると “Good Morning" の次がいきなり「今日の教材は〇〇ね、では・・・」と始まるので、いまだに面食らう。
レアジョブではこれが普通だったっけ。もう覚えていない・・・。
教材をこなすのに忙しいから自己紹介は不要でいいんだけど、愛想が無いのはレアジョブ標準仕様なんですかね。
アレかな、レアジョブってビジネスパーソンの生徒が多そうだから、やっぱりカチッとやらないといけないのかな。
ビジネス認定講師で選んでるし。
人によって、こういう教師的な雰囲気が合う人と、Native Campのような友達的な雰囲気の方が合う人と、分かれる気がする。
よく「英会話スクールのA社とB社を比較～」と、星の数ほどブログがあるけれど、レアジョブとNative Campを比較するのは全く意味がない、と私は思う。
昨日と違い、今日はやたらと「この語彙を別の単語で言い替えて」が多かった。
そういうマニュアルなのかな。よく分からない。
