レッスンの感想
今日はもうお気に入りリストには拘らず（どうせ誰も空いてないし）、さっさと講師一覧から初めてのセルビア・J先生を選択し、時間調整の雑談を交えつつ、綺麗に最後までぴったりで終わった。
設問に答える度に、「こういう場合にも使うわね」と色々例を出してくれて、良い先生だった。
今回は、一つ前の教材「1-5 What Do You Say?」の復習のような感じでちょうど良かった。
と言っても、昨日学んだばかりなのにQ10の秘密を守る時の言い方など、見事に忘れていた。
Ｑ6の謝罪の言葉はうっすら覚えていたけれど。
あぁ、復習しなきゃね・・・。
でも最近英語日記の中で新しい取り組みとして始めた「句動詞＆イディオムの習得」で、チョロチョロと表現を頭に入れようと努力しているお陰で、Q4では“Break a leg!"、Q10では“You have a word." を、「言い換え出来るよね？」と先生に言えて、非常に満足した。
ただ、教材内のイラストは色々気になった。
例えば、Q2のイラストが何をしているんだか分からず、先生は「サンドイッチを作ってるんじゃないか」と言った。
そうかもしれないけど、なんで挟む具をいちいち彼氏に訊いているんだろう？
もう机にチーズもベーコンも切って用意してあるんだから、そのまま全部挟めばいいじゃん。
それに、フォークでチーズを突いている女性の意地悪そうな表情がどうにも気になる。
Q8だって変だよね。
聞き返すときにこんな風に耳に開いた手を当てる人なんているだろうか。
マギー審司じゃあるまいし。
Q10は・・・ただただ、怖い。
