私だったらこんなに言うのはメンドイのでシンプルに ”Guess what!"。
先生がよく使うのは “I have some tea." とのこと。
【Q4 相手が自分の話を理解していない時：サンプル回答】
1. Did you get what I mean?
2. Could you understand what I’m trying to say?
3. Is everything clear to you?
【Q5：誰かに謝る時：サンプル回答】
1. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it.
2. Look, I’m sorry for what happened.
3. I apologize for my actions/words. I didn’t mean to offend you.
offend ～：～の気分を害する、怒らせる
【Q6 言ったことをもう一度繰り返してほしい時：サンプル回答】
1. Could you repeat what you said?
2. What did you just say?
3. I’m sorry. I didn’t get that. Could you say it again?
※自分で色々答えた際、1番とほぼ同じことも言ったが “again" も付けた。しかし先生から “repeat" に「再度」の意味があるから “again" は不要という指摘をもらった。
【Q7 悪い話を聞いた時：サンプル回答】
1. That’s really bad.
2. Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.
3. Really? I hope s/he’s doing okay.
※先生によるとこれらは皆丁寧表現だが、友人に言うときはFワードとかSワードとか “gosh" “What a hell" 等が一般的（使っても大丈夫）とのこと。これらは映画・ドラマでは聴き慣れていても自分で使ったことはなく、今回は練習（？）のため人生で初めてSワードを口にした！
【Q8 誰かに初の食べ物を試させようとする時：サンプル回答】
1. Why don’t you try this one? I bet you’ll like it!
2. For a change, try this one. You always have those soups when you’re in your hometown.
3. Hey, why don’t you try this one? I’m sure you’ll love it.
for a change：気分転換に
【Q9 口止めされた時：サンプル回答】
1. I promise, I won’t tell a soul!
2. I’m a good keeper of secrets. Trust me.
3. I swear I won’t tell anyone.
tell a soul：人に秘密を話す
※映画・ドラマで良く聞く “You have my word." もOKとのこと（保証する、という意味）。
【Q10 冗談を言われた時：サンプル回答】
1. You gotta be kidding me!
2. Are you serious?
3. You’re playing around with me, aren’t you?
play around：もてあそぶ
※１番は一般的ではないとのこと。“Are you kidding me?" で。

イディオム勉強で見つけたのでココにも記載。
“are you pulling my leg?" pull someone’s leg：誰かをからかう、悪ふざけをする
【その他、都度習った表現】
・It’s none of your business.
・holy smoke 「あらまぁ」 驚きや感動の時に
ex) I look at my kids and grandkids and think, holy smoke, what kind of world will they inherit?
・holy moly 驚いた時
ex) Holy moly, this is exciting news!
・for real
ex) He quit smoking? For real?
レッスンの感想
最後まで終わらせるのに、な～んて時間の掛かった教材だったんだろう！
頻繁にこういうパターン（１回のレッスンで終わらないので数回のレッスンに分ける）になるけれど、今回は最長記録だった。
しかも今回の教材って、1問1問の回答がとても短いからあっという間に進みそうだったのにね！
内訳は、
①フィリピン・A先生（初）：Q1＋雑談
②セルビア・J先生：結果的に雑談only
③北マケドニア・K先生：Q2＋雑談
④フィリピン・C先生：Q3＋雑談
⑤フィリピン・C先生： 結果的に雑談only
⑥セルビア・B先生：Q4＆5＋雑談
ここまで続いて、自分で「いい加減にしろ」と思い、
⑦トルコ・F先生（初）：Q6から残り全部
だった。
特に⑦の先生は「質問ある？」と訊きつつ、こっちの返事も聞かずに次へ次へと進んでいくタイプだったので、最後は一気に終わった。
指摘は的確で良かったんだけど、脱線おしゃべり系の私とはちょっとテンポが合わなかった。
でもレッスン後のメッセージはとても丁寧に色々復習ポイント等を入れてくれて感動した。
なかなか興味深い教材だった。
でもサンプル回答がちょっとお堅いかな、やっぱり。
