【こういう “〇〇self" を付けるのはよくあるのか？】
自分で普段話す時、"enjoy" の後にわざわざ “myself" は付けないので、
“We enjoyed ourselves at the shopping mall." と “We enjoyed at the shopping mall."
の違いを訊いてみた。
違いはなく、人によって付けたり付けなかったりするとのこと。
先生はどっち？と尋ねたところ、「簡単な方（＝付けない）」だった。ま、ラクな方がいいよね。
【 “I kind of do" の意味】
Conversation にある “I kind of do" の意味を質問。
いわゆる “be going to" とか “about to" みたいな意味とのこと。
こちらも先生は使わないそう。ネイティブはよく使うとのこと。
【発音注意】
私が言った “word" が “world" に聞こえるらしい。

レッスンの感想
先月のトピックトーク「Lottery」で楽しいトークをしてくれたフィリピンのC先生が空いたので、慌ててレッスンをお願いした。
相変わらず明るくテキパキしていて、笑いのあるレッスンをしてくれた。
先生は、給料日になるとshopaholicになるらしい。
でもレッスン後に教材の各Exerciseの回答例を見たら、結構シビアな文章が多かった。
・Anne didn’t recognize herself after getting out of the hospital.
・Don’t worry. He won’t kill himself.
・He is talking to himself. It’s creepy.
他のスクールのマテリアルでは見ないような、変わった回答例の文章が多いのがNative Campの特徴の一つだと、よく思う。

とか
・That’s the girl. Her father is dating a friend of hers.
とか・・・。
