今月の英会話タイムトライアルの旅はPennsylvania州
遠山先生の番組「英会話楽習」が10月で終わったため、今月から視聴番組が「タイムトライアル」一つだけになった。
お陰でラクチンに・・・・・いやいや、寂しくなった。
相変わらずアメリカの州のことを全然知らないので、 Pennsylvania州がどこにあるのかもよく分からないまま聴き始めた。
まさに、会話練習に出てきた

最初はすごくアメリカっぽい話、歴史とか歴代大統領とかの練習から。
テキストを持っていないので、 “independence" と “independent" の違いが、私の耳レベルでは聴いているだけでは全く判別できなかった。
