Part3の模擬問題（イラストの内容を説明する）復習
【1問目（地図で道順説明）】
<自分でやってみて＞
地図上、タクシーのいる地点から目的地（歯医者さん）までは単純に
「まっすぐ進んで二つ目の交差点を右折。そのまままっすぐ行くと二つ目の交差点の先、左側に歯医者さん。」
だったので、このようにシンプルに話した。
“Please go straight and turn right at the second intersection, then go straight and the dental clinic is on the left."
もちろんそれで不正解ではないのだけれど、よく見ると地図の上に点線が付いていて、その点線の通りに車が進む前提だったらしい。
はっきり言って意味も無くやたらと角を曲がっていく道順になっていて、ともかくそれに沿って「コンビニを通過して」とか建物名について入れ込むのが想定の回答だった。

<サンプル解答>
“Hi, I need to go to the dental clinic, and it’s just a few blocks from here. To get there, just go to the first light and take a right. The dental clinic will be there on the left-hand side. The trip should only take about five minutes."
しかし・・・タクシードライバーさんにこんなこと言ったって覚えられるわけないでしょーに。。。
【2問目（老夫婦のガーデニング4コマ）】
<自分でやってみて＞
・「ご主人が代わりに花を育てた」が言えなかった」
→ “take care of ～" で言えばよい

<サンプル解答>
“The old lady was enjoying planting new flowers in her garden. She broke her foot and ended up in the hospital, where she had a vase of flowers from her garden in her room. Her husband took care of the garden

レッスンの感想
今回は初めてのフィリピン・Ｂ先生とレッスンした。
かなり若いがハキハキして元気な先生で、実にフィリピンの先生らしかった。
テキパキ進めてもらって、最後少し時間が余ったのでフリートークをお願いした。
今日は前回のPart2の対策問題をやってみた時とは変えて、制限時間は一切無視して話したいように話した。
前回は「そんなにアレコレ話さなくていいらしい」とサンプル回答を読んで思ったので、今回の教材の１問目については、上記の通りシンプルに回答した。
しかしサンプル回答はまさかの説明てんこ盛りバージョン・・・。
まぁ日々の会話力が上がればなんでもいいんですけどね。
