英語で鑑賞 The Good Place : Season1-3 Tahani Al-Jamil

コメディエンヌのクリスティン・ベルが楽しい「The Good Place」も、2話目が終わり3話目に入った。
まず、いつも通り英語音声で観てみた。
・・・すると2話目と同じように、今回も10%くらいしか言っていることが聴き取れなかった・・・。
2話目の時のようにスピードを落として見直しても良かったけれど、毎回コレをやっていると完全にやる気を失って止めてしまいそうなので、やり方を変えることにした。
あらすじを書きまくるのもだんだん面倒になってきたし！
というワケで、
英語音声のみで観るのは諦めて、英語字幕付きで観よう・・・。
英語字幕で観て、知らない単語は調べ、表現が理解出来ないところは日本語字幕で確認、ということにした。
「英語で鑑賞」を始める時に考えたのは、英語音声のみ → 日本語字幕で答え合わせ。
それがこうも変わるとは・・・・あぁ。。。
やはり私には英語音声のみで観るのは早すぎたか。
まぁこのやり方も、またそのうち変わるかもしれない。
とにかく飽きて止めちゃう前に出来るだけ進めよう。

たった20分ちょっとの１話分でこの量だよ！！
なんて疲れる作業だろう。
毎回こんなのやってられないよ。今後どうするか考えないと。
とは言え、調べると「あぁ、そういうことね」と理解出来て嬉しい。
でも効率は悪い。
でもとても勉強にはなる。
でも辛い。
いつか知っている語彙ばっかりになって、こんなに調べなくてもスムーズに観られるようなればいいんだよねぇ。
でもそれって・・・・・いつ？
泣きそう。。。
