・It’s a known fact that…：a statement or information is a fact and that everybody knows and accepts it is true

・It’s a common misunderstanding, but…：many people believe something that is not true, and we want to explain the correct information.
例)
It’s a common misunderstanding, but not all Italians use exaggerated hand gestures when they speak.

It’s a common misunderstanding, but not all Italian buildings have statues and painted ceilings.

レッスンの感想
今年度の受講は、適当に選んだT先生からにした。
とてもテキパキとした先生でサクサクサクサク進めてくれた。教材は最後まで終わらなかったけど。
聴きやすい発音なので理解しやすくてありがたかった。お気に入りに登録しよう。
今日の3つの言い回しは難しくなくて良かったけれど、「It’s a common misunderstanding, but…」の後ろの部分が分かりづらくて上手く言えなかった。
久しぶりにオンラインレッスンを受けてみて、珍しく「以前よりしゃべれるようになってるなぁ・・・」と実感して嬉しかった。
貧相な語彙やフレーズのためしゃべっている内容やレベルはたいしたことないんだけど、ポンポンしゃべっている自分を発見した。
嬉しいけど、なんでこの程度までしゃべれるようになったのかな、と思う。やっぱり「英会話タイムトライアル」かな・・・。
しかし語彙やフレーズがなぁ・・・。
「ニュースで学ぶ現代英語」のお陰で習得語彙は相当増えたけど、ニュース語彙って日常英会話じゃやっぱり使わない。
ニュースを理解するには必須だから覚えるのは大事なことなんだけど、日常会話で頻出するような語彙は、やっぱり洋画や海外ドラマから学びましょう。
あと、しゃべりながら自分の発音のひどさを思いっきり実感した。
笑っちゃうくらいひどかった。先生はさすがちゃんと理解してくれていたけど。
英会話アプリ「ELSA」か何かで練習したくなった。今度検討しよう・・・・。
